This set of French bellows-type bagpipes known as a musette are extraordinary as they may once have belonged to Prince Charles Edward (1720 - 1788). They are made from wood, with leather bellows, a velvet bag, and are covered with silver lace trimming. The fittings and silver keys are made from ivory.
